Header edits at merge time: the connection note points at the pair-once-then-adb-tcpip path, launcherx is
left to the install script, the four Mainline modules carry a comment.
Chinese-market TCL set on Amlogic firmware with no Google services at all.
16 packages disabled (boot ad service, analytics, preloaded content), 10
more commented as optional, plus the firmware quirks in the header.
The header says up front that the launcher half does not apply to this
model: any APK declaring category.HOME is refused at parse time unless it is
signed with TCL's key, so com.tcl.cyberui stays and only its ad/telemetry
packages can be removed.
The Glance, Mi TV+, Sensara and legal-text packages found by punyajain1 join the existing
xiaomi-mitv-axso0 list (same hardware as the Mi TV 4C Pro 2019). The 'Restoring your TV'
section and the rewritten 'can it brick' answer take up tyhallcsu's points from #94.
Debloat-only Fire OS example: header rewritten to say the launcher cannot replace Fire's home,
personal-choice groups marked, the two reportedly protected packages flagged; the encoding-damaged
README hunk was dropped. README now says Fire TV gets the debloat half.
Kept the compile step and the opt-in service enabler from earlier merges, and turned the final
resolve-activity print into a check: if Home does not resolve to the new launcher the stock one
is re-enabled and the script stops with the setupwraith hint.
Folded the grouping, keep-list and firmware notes from the separate README into debloat.txt, the
format every other example uses; marked the personal-choice group and left the stock launcher to
the install script.
Dropped com.homwee.factory and the Live TV channel-scan wizard (load-bearing on this platform per
the CHiQ and MOOQ0 lists) and left the stock launcher to the install script.
Kept #42's automatic Inputs-pill detection instead of the show_inputs flag, kept rows_below_dock,
and routed HOME_KEY_SERVICE=1 / -HomeKeyService through the same append-safe enabler as #27 so
enabling one service never drops another.
On Google TV 14 (Xiaomi MiTV-MZTU0, Android 14) HOME is resolved by intent
priority and the saved default home is ignored: launcherx has priority 2,
the setup wizard's RecoveryActivity priority 1, a sideloaded launcher 0.
Disabling launcherx with the home preference already set made Android drop
the preference (candidate set changed), Home landed on RecoveryActivity and
system_server crash-looped (TV off Wi-Fi every ~60 s).
build-and-install: start the new launcher before disabling the stock one,
set the home preference after, and print what HOME resolves to.
examples/xiaomi-tv-a-pro-2026: debloat list for this model; it also
disables com.google.android.tungsten.setupwraith since shell may not
disable the single RecoveryActivity component.

Google TV 14 (UTTC.250917.004). Covers Google telemetry and ad services,
ambient mode, and replacing launcherx (setupwraith must be disabled too).
Notes the quirks specific to this device: ADB on 5555 is closed and
Android 14 needs wireless-debugging pairing, set-home-activity alone does
not stick, two packages ship factory-disabled, and the YouTube remote
button (BUTTON_3, keycode 190) can be remapped for free with Key Mapper.

Checked on the tested unit: the stock launcher's Home filter has priority 2 and launcher/'s
has 0, which is why set-home-activity only takes effect once the stock launcher is disabled.
Stated as the cause instead of "reportedly".
setupwraith declares Home activities, but after setup none of them is a Home candidate on a
Shield (its MainActivity is disabled). The advice to disable it came from Google TV sets
(#49, #53), where disabling Setup/Recovery is risky, so the list now says to leave it alone.
The Inputs pill note no longer quotes the "No inputs found" toast, so it stays true if the
launcher starts hiding the pill on boxes without inputs (#42).

Tested on SHIELD Experience 9.2.4 (RQ1A.210105.003.7825230_4387.0822) and checked against
a 9.2.2 package list. Disables NVIDIA and Google telemetry and feedback, the sponsored rows
service, Play partner auto-installs, the retired GameStream receiver and NVIDIA Games, two
preloaded apps and the stock Android TV launcher. Assistant, Chromecast, firmware updates and
streaming apps are left as personal choices.
The header covers network debugging, how Home hands over to launcher/ on this Android 11
build, what the launcher's Inputs and network pills show on a Shield, and the packages to
leave alone (remote, controllers, AI upscaling, audio).

Debloat list for the MiTV-MOOR2 (codename venom, MediaTek), firmware
RTM5.220609.003.2674: 22 packages, all currently disabled on the TV with
the launcher from launcher/ in place. The header notes the two package
names that differ from the repo defaults on this firmware, the stock
launcher (com.google.android.apps.tv.launcherx) and the Live TV app
(com.mitv.livetv), and lists the packages that must stay enabled,
com.mitv.livetv among them because it owns .input.SelectInputActivity,
the HDMI/source switcher.
Also adds a troubleshooting entry for the thing that cost the most time:
on this build, disabling the stock launcher does not hand Home to a
third-party launcher, because com.google.android.tungsten.setupwraith
answers HOME too. android:priority is ignored on HOME filters for
non-system apps, `cmd package set-home-activity` reports Success without
taking effect, and `pm disable-user` on one setupwraith component is
refused; disabling the whole package is what frees the slot.
Tested on a Xiaomi MiTV-MOOR2. The list is a first-day report, not the
few days CONTRIBUTING.md asks for, and the header says so.

Disables Samba TV ACR, Sony Select, My BRAVIA promos, Discover, the
Sony/Qterics device agents, retail demo and bug-report services, plus
Chromecast, DLNA, mirroring and unused media apps by owner's choice.
Notes the Android 9 quirk where set-home-activity is ignored until the
stock launcher is disabled.

Disables 29 packages: Xiaomi telemetry, PatchWall and MiChannel rows, the
TV Manager cleaner, the Alexa bridge, preloads and the stock launcher's
recommendation plumbing.
Two things specific to this firmware are called out in the header:
- com.duokan.factorytest also declares the HOME intent at priority 0, the
same as a replacement launcher, so Home can land on the factory test app
unless the home activity is set explicitly before the stock launcher is
disabled. It is in the list so restore.sh re-enables it.
- com.xiaomi.android.tvsetup.partnercustomizer holds BleRcActivity, the
Bluetooth remote pairing screen, and com.mediatek.hotkey.dispatcher is
the remote's hotkey service. Both look like bloat and must be kept.
HDMI 1-3, composite AV, the tuner, the Bluetooth remote, Gboard, Play
Store, Chromecast, Miracast and USB video playback all verified working.
Android TV 10 (huangshan, MediaTek). Applied in seven groups with a reboot
after each. Documents that disabling smartsense/aiot sent this TV to
Android Recovery, and that rebooting right after pm disable-user lost
the change.

A streaming box rather than a TV: Mi Box S, model MIBOX4, codename oneday, firmware PI.3933. This
Indian unit had PatchWall pushed by Xiaomi's update service, Alphonso's ad-tracking service
(tv.alphonso.alphonso_eula, which reads app usage stats) and Mi analytics. Voice search, casting
and the phone-remote service are off by choice and marked as such. The notes cover what must stay
(the remote's shortcut buttons go through com.xiaomi.android.tvsetup.partnercustomizer) and that
USB debugging cuts power to the box's USB port.
Tested on that box: applied with disable.ps1 and checked across a reboot (nothing re-enabled at
boot; free RAM after boot up from about 770 MB to 1.15 GB).

Device G08, MediaTek tcl9618, firmware UTT2.250416.001 AU16. Unlike the
2023 G10 sets, com.tcl.ttvs (Samba TV ACR, TCL analytics) and logkit ship
enabled. Documents that setupwraith's RecoveryActivity takes over HOME once
launcherx is disabled, and the optical-soundbar CEC limitation.

Includes the quirks found on this firmware: wireless-debugging pairing before the first
reboot, setupwraith taking over Home, MediaTek suspend-to-RAM stopping Bluetooth so a
Chromecast remote cannot wake the TV (Wake-on-LAN can), and the Chromecast remote's
Input/YouTube/Netflix buttons losing their handler with the stock launcher.

Disables Google feedback, the OnePlus/HeyTap extras (Connect, Smart Home, TV Assistant, Bluetooth
speaker mode, File Browser, content launcher page), the preloaded BrowseHere browser and the stock
Google TV launcher with its recommendations. Assistant, Chromecast, factory and remote-update
packages are kept.
